Shandur Pass Chitral Hindukush Valley
Shandur Pass connects Chitral of Hindukush valley and Ghizer District of Gilgit-Baltistan. Chitral is the capital of the Chitral District of KPK . It is often called ‘Roof of the World’. Shandur top is a flat plateau and can be crossed between late April and early November.
Chitral is the capital of the Chitral District, situated on the Chitral River in northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Chitral also served as the capital of the princely state of Chitral until 1947.
Itinerary
Day 1 GILGIT-GUPIS
Fly Gilgit arrive Meet greet and after short break refreshment we will start our travel towards west of Gilgit in Hindukush mountain range
DAY 2 GUPIS-MASTUJ
Today we will travel along the Gilgit river will stop at Phander for panoramic view of the valley ,Phander lake and later we will proceed to Lander,Teru and Shandur Pass the border between Gilgit and Chitral .later will arrive Mastuj and overnight stay .
DAY 3 MASTUJ-KALASH -BAMBURAIT
Today we will drive to Kalash valley ,visiting Chitral Town sightseeing and upon arrival at Kalash transfer to hotel afternoon free time exploring the town .
DAY 4 KALSAH VALLEY -RUMBUR
Today we will visit Rumbur valley in the morning explore the sites and culture meeting people and later drive back to Bamburait explore town visit Museum and overnight Bamburait .
DAY 5 KALASH -CHITRAL-FLY ISLAMABAD
Morning drive Chitral upon arrival transfer hotel later visit town visit bazar Shahi mosque and back to Hotel.
