Pakistani rivers change courses and flows until they all meet the mighty Indus, these rivers are ideal for all kinds of water sports like rafting, boating, & sailing. Pakistan offers a number of wonderful opportunities for white water rafting.

Itinerary
Itinerary by Land (Group size 4-6 Pax)
Day 1 ARRIVE RAWALPINDI/ISLAMABAD
On arrival transfer to hotel/ Guest House, in Rawalpindi Islamabad (the airport is situated mid-way between Islamabad and Rawalpindi). You will meet your guide in the afternoon at the hotel for a trip briefing and gear check.
Day 2 Chilas on Karakoram Highway-10-12 hours 480 Km
Karakorum high way is the highest paved international road in the world that connects China-Pakistan across the Karakoram mountain range, through the Khunjerab Pass, at an elevation of 4,733 m/15,397 ft.The highway is built by the governments of Pakistan and China, it was started in 1959 and was completed in 1979 (open to the public since 1986) about 810 Pakistanis and about 200 Chinese workers lost their lives, mostly in landslides and falls, while building the highway. The route of the KKH traces one of the many paths of the ancient Silk Road. Meals: Breakfast O/N Hotel
Day3 Chilas to Skardu
After an early breakfast drive to Skardu (232 km, 9 hours’ drive) in route stop for lunch and places of interest and scouting of River Indus. Upon arrival in Skardu transfer to K2 motel Skardu for overnight.
Day4 Skardu
Rest day in Skardu for preparation, Leader will take a jeep to scouting the first section of the rafting from Skardu to Garbidas (30 km ).
Day5 SKARDU TO GARBIDAS
Skardu to Garbidas 30 km rafting, after an early breakfast start your first day of Rafting expedition to Garbidas. Van and jeep will follow the expedition by road and meet the members at Garbidas village. Overnight camping. All meals included.
Day6 GARBIDAS RONDU GORGE SNOUTING
Rest day or scouting through rafting of Rondo Gorge and driving by jeep with frequent stop and walk down to the river. Overnight at Garbidas small hotel or camping.
Day7 GARBIDAS TO STAK NALLAH (RONDU GORGE)
Rafting from Garbidas to Stak Nallah 30 km, after an early breakfast start rafting to the most difficult section of Indus called Rondu Gorge. This is the infamous Rondu Gorges attempted by Richard Bangs in 1979 but not completed, (Reference; Richard and Kallen, Christian, Rivergods, Sierra Club Books, San Francisco, 1985 accounts of great river exploration, including the first attempts on the Indus River). After crossing the Rondu Gorge camping or Hotel near Stak Nallah, All meals included.
Day8 STAK NALLAH TO SASI
Stak Nallah to Sasi Village 40 km, after an early breakfast start rafting downstream to Sasi village. Upon arrival transfer to camping site for overnight camping. All meals included.
Day9 SASI TO JUGLOT
Sasi to Juglot 25 km, After an early breakfast start rafting downstream to Juglot, which is 50 km away from Gilgit Town, upon arrival in Juglot board van and jeep for a ride to Gilgit for about an hour’s.
Note:
Sasi to Gilgit 50 km, Rafting from Sasi to Gilgit is 50 km. After 20 km you will reach at the Gilgit River and Indus River junction. If members would like to raft 30 km of upstream to Gilgit. This day can be used to do so.
Day10 GILGIT
Rest day in Gilgit for sightseeing, overnight hotel. All meals included.
Day11 GILGIT TO BESHAM
Drive from Gilgit to Besham 6 hours, After breakfast drive from Gilgit to Besham 343 km, upon arrival in Besham transfer to PTDC motel Besham for overnight. All meals included.
Day12 BESHAM TO ISLAMABAD
After breakfast drive to Islamabad 236 km for about 6 hours’ drive. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel. All meals included.
Day13
Islamabad or CONTINGENCY DAY
Day14 FLY BACK TO HOME
